Living Stations

Spontaneous narration by 4 yo JBug after our church’s Living Stations of the Cross, in which big sister Emily portrayed Mary:

“Yesterday Jesus died. It was sad. The bad soldiers were mean and they killed him. Emily is sad because Jesus died. Emily wants to cry because she loves him. He is her hero. But he’s not dead any more, so now she can be happy! We are all happy now because Jesus is alive!”

I think it was a successful evening.

If my four year old does anything like this after our Living Stations of the Cross, I will be VERY, VERY happy!

    How lovely!
