First day results

Well, the results are in and our first day went pretty well! We got done about half of what I had planned, which is to be expected this early on in the game (and why I don’t plan too far in advance at this stage). The nice thing is that the things we DID get done were great!
Morning meeting went well with both kids participating enthusiastically, during times Superboy needs my attention JBug is able to choose activities and work independantly for short periods, math went well for both kids, we had a nice nature walk and found a cool caterpillar, Superboy had fun with his oceans and seas quiz game, he made an awesome first notebook page on world waterways and said “I think this is going to be our best year ever!”

Wow, you got half your stuff done? Well done. We are still “de-schooling” around here so I would be thrilled with one fifth!
