Lapazfarm gets crafty
Posted by lapazfarm on November 7th, 2006 filed in Curriculum or Lack Thereof...(Thanks once again to the ladies at the 4reallearning board for this idea.)
When I saw these Origami books aka accordian books or squash books, they looked like too much fun, so of course we had to try it out. I thought it would make a nice alternative to our usual notebooking and Superboy agreed.
Superboy decided he wanted to make one on Pagoo.
Here is the cover:

Open it up to see what is inside!

The large diamonds are stages of Pagoo’s life cycle, while the smaller triangles are characters he meets in his story, with quotes from the book in the lower triangles.
Here are some close-ups of the content, though I am afraid the photos are not too clear:

The pictures are photocopies from the book. Some color and some black and white, which Superboy then colored lightly and added some glitter for sparkle! It was a fun little project and a handy way to “wrap up” our study of Pagoo!
