hold that thought…

I had promised a little while back to blog about the latest projects Superboy is into… Well, things have been a bit chaotic here lately due to some issues with my grandchildren, so that’s why I have been such a lousy blogger. Plus, dh took the camera with him when he went out of town, so I have not been able to take any pics of the projects anyway.  And you really need to see these babies to appreciate them.  But schoolwork continues (although freqently interrupted) and I really will get a post together soon! With pictures! Bear with me!

Meanwhile, I am having so much fun with my two new obsessions: My laminator I got for Christmas, and learning to knit! It really is so funny because these are two things that I could NEVER have pictured myself enjoying just a short while ago! Today I worked on laminating all of the cards from JBug’s Life Cycle book, and a bunch of the cards from Superboy’s Biology Project. And I wish I had my camera because I finally put the fringe on my first completed knitted scarf and I think it looks great!Well…if you ignore the fact that it gets wider by several stitches in a few spots before I figured out why…I am also simultaneously working on 2 other scarves for other folks and am almost finished with a little purse for JBug, just lacking a button to finish that off. Hmm…well at least I know Superboy comes by his scatterbrained personality honestly!

So, anyway, projects coming up soon. Really.

Well, at least you have good reasons for not being around. I can’t wait to see pics of everything.
I’m like you…hate to Blog without a picture. I would Blog more if I could get past it, but I enjoy other’s posts more when there are pictures, so I know that people probably feel the same about mine. Plus, when I finally print it all off one day to put it into books, I want the pictures there…as many as I can get.
Keep us posted…get that camera back!!!

I’ll be super interested to see more of the Biology Project. We half started, stopped for the holidays, and are really trying to get motivated on it again.
    Congrats on your first scarf!

Congratulations on your first scarf!!! I tried to teach myself to knit but never got past “casting on.” :-D

I can’t wait to see more of your Bio. project. I started it (I am looking at the file folder box as I type this) but never did anything with it.

Awesome, Theresa! I’m teaching myself how to knit, as well!

Looking forward to seeing your lovely creations!

    Theresa,
Can’t wait to see what you two have been up to :) I loved reading your posts about your learning stations and your biology project. I am a compulsive scarf knitter in the winter and both of my daughters can testify to that with the number of scarves hanging in their closets lol. What makes it even funnier, though, is that here in the desert, time for wearing scarves is very limited! Glad to hear you are settling into the new house. Good luck with the grandkids.
