I was tagged by Marjorie ages ago and have just gotten around to posting this! Some of my answers are a bit odd, but considering our family, that’s to be expected!wedding photo

Just Married! Here we are on the big day!

1. Where/How did you meet? He was taking a zoology lab I was teaching at the university. Ahhh, the romantic smell of formalyn…

2. How long have you known each other? 15 years. It only SEEMS like forever!

3. How long after you met did you start dating? A few months. AFTER the class finished, I might add. He earned his A legitimately!
4. How long did you date before you were engaged? Not sure. We didn’t do an official engagement.
5. How long was your engagement? not sure, but not long.
6. How long have you been married? 14 years.

7. What is your anniversary? Sept 4

8. How many people came to your wedding reception? One. We just up and got married one day when we decided we couldn’t stand being apart any longer, and I brought a friend as a witness. We had a church wedding later.

9. What kind of cake did you serve? none

10. Where was your wedding? Jackson county couthouse, NC. Then later St. Madeleine’s Catholic Church in High Springs FL.

11. What did you serve for your meal? Don’t remember, but most likely Dominos Pizza.

12. How many people were in your wedding party? Just us!
13. Are you still friends with them all? Best friends forever!
14. Did your spouse cry during the ceremony? Nope. We did giggle a bit I think.
15. Most special moment of your wedding day? *blush* I’m not telling, this is a G-rated blog!

16. Any funny moments? My friend insisted I not get married in my FL Gators T-shirt and loaned me a dress for the occasion!
17. Any big disasters? broke my toe on “honeymoon” climbing down to the lake to swim.

18. Where did you go on your honeymoon? It was just a little day outing to a nearby lake. With the kids.

19. How long were you gone? A few hours.

20. If you were to do your wedding over, what would you change? I’d watch my step going down that hill.LOL!
21. What side of the bed do you sleep on?: The left side (when looking from the foot of the bed). Usually.
22. What size is your bed? Queen size.

23. Greatest strength as a couple? we accept each other’s imperfections.

24. Greatest challenge as a couple? communication. I think. He’s never really told me…
25. Who literally pays the bills? We switch off. As soon as we start getting collections notices we know it is time to switch!
26. What is your song? Everything I do (I do it for you) by Bryan Adams. Would you like wine to go with that cheese? Yes, I’d love some, thank you!

27. What did you dance your first dance to? N/A

28. Describe your wedding dress: Sun dress. Blue with pink flowers. At the church wedding later I wore a pretty beaded and lace Ivory suit dress.
29. What kind of flowers did you have at your wedding? a rose.

30. Are your wedding bands engraved? No

31. How old were you when you got married? I was 26 and he was 30.

    I loved this! Too cute. Btw, Willie and I were the same ages…I was 26 and he 30 when we got married.
    I love the Easter pics as well. Congrats to you, Ed and of course Jennifer.
    I wish we could’ve been there and we were sad to miss her baptism. Hope Conner’s gift fits him…
