A difficult path indeed ... here's hoping that the rich tapestry of days which you are creating for your children will ease the heartache, just a little.

Will you be able to visit again, during the coming months?

I've been catching up on your blog and WOW, so many changes for you. Alaska looks so beautiful. It must be so difficult to be separated from various family members for so long.

I'm enjoying the photos you posted of your time in Alaska to date; thanks for blogging about your adventures there. We're studying the States this year, and I'll be using your blog as a reference. :)

I know exactly what you mean - without the husband factor, of course. I hope you are reunited soon.

This will be a strange and difficult year, but I have faith that you are one woman who can still make magic through it all. I hope your daughter appreciates the sacrifice you are all making for her to have a great last year and makes it AMAZING! This is much bigger than counting down for Christmas!! ;)

ON a side note...my NatureGirl and I spent some time viewing all your Kodiak shots in our study of Alaska. When I told her more of your story and impending move, she was quite envious. Then she mentioned, "Can you ask your friend to reserve her adorable homeschooled, nature-loving fisherman son for me until I am sixteen and can meet him?"
When I laughed and said we had never even met him, she told me that you can learn more about a boy from the writings of his mother than ten dates. I had to grin. This one is pretty smart, indeed.
