Art or science?

Posted by lapazfarm on August 28th, 2007 filed in art, science, Curriculum or Lack Thereof...

Why not both?

Today’s art project was inspired by our reading in science. We are learning about different models of the universe (open, closed, flat), “big bang” and other origins theories, and all that good spacey stuff , so we decided to get a little cosmic with our art today.

Materials: posterboard, a couple of tin cans, and lots of spray paint.

Process: get creative with it!

Results:

Superboy’s “Asteroid Shower”.

My “Distant Horizons.”

JBug’s “Earth” and “Planet.”

Gosh, I love homeschooling. It is totally “out of this world”!LOL!

(You didn’t think I could pass up an opportunity for a bad pun, now did you?)
