Oh, my goodness. If you ever get the opportunity to visit Badlands National Park, JUST DO IT! What a spectacular place! The plan is to leave tuesday on our cross-country trip. I’ll write more about our itinerary as we firm up the details, but… it looks like we will be skipping Iowa this time through. Any other areas we should be avoiding??? Any heads-up would be appreciated.

I am buried in boxes, books, and junk. Lots of junk. I have absolutely nothing worthwhile to say. So, I’ll just share a photo. Mr. Polyphemus stopped by for a visit last night, but by this morning he was ready to move on. You and me both, buddy.

We have definitely slipped into summer mode around here. Which means… picnics! Good old PBJ… and apple slices… and the best part of all… Rootbeer floats!Yum! What’s not to love about that? Hope your summer is just as yummy!
