My brain is mush

Posted by lapazfarm on June 4th, 2008 filed in nature study

I am buried in boxes, books, and junk. Lots of junk.

I have absolutely nothing worthwhile to say.

So, I’ll just share a photo.

Mr. Polyphemus stopped by for a visit last night, but by this morning he was ready to move on.

You and me both, buddy.

He is amazing! And so are you!

I feel your pain :-) We’ve moved many times over the years (out of the country and within it), and inevitably it ends with tennis shoes and silverware somehow being chucked desperately in the same bin as the moving truck idles in the driveway.

It may not be pretty–or even particularly hygienic–but somehow it all gets done. And if your brain is mush, Theresa, I fear for the rest of us!

Your feeling the moving blues! Ready to be at the finished point, but feeling it is so far away! You ARE getting there!

No! You have nothing to say? Not you? LOL! It will get better hon, I promise. Your journey will be over soon and a new one will begin. You may have the “blahs” but you still give us such beautiful photos. Big HUGZ!

Moths freak me out, ever since a HUGE one was thrown into my sleeping bag at a girls camp, and he (or I) could get out.

I always feel that the times my brain goes mushy, it allows everyone elses brain to sharpen up…just to compensate, you know?! :)

Wow, the only thing better than finding a polyphemous moth caterpillar is a polyphemous moth itself! Gorgeous!

Boy, can I relate. Fortunately I’m not buried under the boxes since they are all packed away in the barn. But I’m certainly very tired of all the packing and cleaning and preparing…

I just wanna get on that plane, fly to Alaska, jump on my bike, and ESCAPE!!!

I feel for you! All I can say is that we’ve come home to boxes wishing we’d purged more heavily. Get rid of the junk! You will be glad you did and it will be less to undo on the other end.

Polyphemus is beautiful, and I love the picnic pictures too!

What a beautiful luna! And, to have just flown into your house… I noticed on the sidebar (because it’s right beside me as I type this comment) you have a photo of the book “Teaching the Tress” and it has a luna on the cover! I just thought that was neat. :-)
