not much time
Posted by lapazfarm on June 28th, 2008 filed in cross-coutry tripbut just wanted to post a very brief update.
Our truck broke down at mount Rushmore and we spent 4 days in Rapid City SD waiting for repairs. It was a bit of a snag but if you have to break down somewhere, you could do much worse than SD. What a super state with so much to see! we thoroughly enjoyed our unplanned layover there. But we were glad to move along once repairs were made. We are now in lovely British Columbia, Canada.
We have seen some wonderful sites. I can’t wait to have some time to share them with you all!
But now we are off again! I’ll check back in soon!

I’m enjoying reading about your trip, and your attitude about the delay is wonderfully laid back. You sure you shouldn’t be heading to Hawaii?

Sorry to hear about the minor set back, but happy to hear that it happened in a great place. :0)

OOOOh… I went to beautiful BC on my honeymoon. I hope the rest of your trip goes smoothly, although it sounds like your snag turned out to be fun.

Whew! Glad the delay wasn’t bad and you were in a neat place.

Glad to see the trip is enjoyable! I grew up in BC - right in between Smithers and Burns Lake. But maybe you’re going through Dawson Creek?
We’re heading to BC in a couple of days - who knows, maybe we’ll cross paths!

You were only a state away!!! I would have loved to have had you come through Minnesota. I know there would have been a huge Theresa fan club waiting to wlecome you here.
Glad to hear you are home. Have fun settling in.
