What’s up next, craftwise?

Posted by lapazfarm on October 10th, 2008 filed in art

I am buoyed by the success of my beanbag making and ready to take on a new crafty challenge. The trouble is there are so many great ideas out there it is tough to choose! But when I saw this project :Felt Jungle,  featured at The Crafty Crow, I knew I had found my next thing. Tons of potential here! I can hardly wait to begin. I just may end up with a home-made Christmas this year!

What are the rest of you working on right now?

Great Project! I am going to try and keep christmas this year simple also. No battery operated toys for the kiddies, and I am making them quilts and the bean bags too. I think the Felt Jungle looks like so much fun to make but I wonder if it will stand up to my little monsters, lol.. The rocks would defiantly be a no no in my house for sure, lol

I saw this the other day and was sad that mine are too big! I may just print the directions to file to make in the future for a birthday/adoption gift!

I am shooting for making one homemade gift per VIP on our list, but that seems to be all I have time for. One of these days….

I got a Debbie Mumm quilt/project book for winter & fall out of the library, and now I want to make beanbag pumpkins and strands of yo-yo pumpkin garlands.

How cute is that?!?! I just finished my kids’ Christmas ornaments and knotty dolls for Adrian and my friend’s little girl and a bean box for Fritz. Pictures of those are on my blog (posted them yesterday). Next I’ll be making some more beanbags for Fritz (10 black ones and 10 blue ones to go with his 10 red ones) and I have to finish quilting my dragon quilt. I love making stuff :)
