Left to her own devices…
Dec 9th, 2008 by lapazfarm
Superboy and I have been busy the past few days making gifts, so JBug has been largely left to fend for herself. I tried to get some snapshots of her keeping herself busy.
So, when left to her own devices, what will JBug do?
She’ll make decorations for a tree…

(yes, that is a knifty knitter crown and superman cape. She does not lack for imagination. Fashion sense, perhaps, but not imagination.)
She’ll make more paper dolls from around the world…

Here she is using her Ugandan doll, a gift from a friend who went to Africa, as a model for her paper doll.
She’ll look at a picture book. Very closely…

She’ll make some snowflakes…

or count to 1000…

The possibilities are endless!

She is doing a great job keeping herself occupied!! I just love your blog and all the great ideas you have are really encouraging me to keep things interesting for my crew! Thanks!
Well bless her heart at least she knows how to occupy herself and what wonderful creations she has made!
How absolutely wonderful!
What?! No workbooks? How’s that child supposed to get an education?
She’s fantastic!
I love her fashion sense! You have done such a wonderful job of teaching your children to entertain themselves.
Blessings,
Dawn
Please ask JBug if I can come and play. Really. I think I could watch that sweet little girl for hours!
Love & *prayers* to you & yours, Theresa. Today and always.
And the Pet Shop Boys sound track running in my head works well too.
Great kid. Mine is knitting a doll scarf. She was watching trashy little kid tv while she did it but when called on it switched to history DVDs. I have my limits. And she loves history.
She is always up to something and seems so happy while doing it. Such a sweet little girl, I love that star that she made.
She is so fun. My little Remy can find things to do…not always good things.
She dresses like my P.
Love her Christmas Tree!
