making rainbows

JBug proves there’s more than one way to enjoy sun + water here in the Keys:

“Mommy! I’m making rainbows!”

Yes, my sweet girl. Mommy thinks you make rainbows every day.
Happy tuesday everyone! Go make some rainbows of your own!

A favorite pastime of mine (children), as well.
lol – not, however at this time of year! This time of year we just find them on the walls.
A lovely post.
Happy rainbow day!
Love the pictures!
I’m still trying to decompress from your move from a place where boiling water vaporizes as soon as it hits the cold air to a place where you can play with the hose in early March. *LOL!!*
Love the pictures-life in Florida looks great. We can’t wait to play with hoses up here in VT!
So fun! I love making rainbows like that, too.
Gosh, from blowing frozen bubbles to making rainbows in a couple of months.
Thanks for posting your friends website. One of the things I love about your blog are your nature journals (I teach math and science now) so on your friends I found her gorgeous drawings, and then from there I read her info and found a link for the Anna Comstock stuff. I LOVE the internet. Definitely going to start the nature study with my girls over spring break so we can have a few days in a row uninterrupted. Thanks, Kelly
I can’t wait for spring so kiddo and I can do that again. He loves making rainbows with the water hose as well. Though we do have a mini unit on light and prisms coming up pretty soon and the sun is almost at the right place as it comes through the windows of our house. Maybe in a few more weeks we’ll be making rainbows here as well
just not of the watery kind…Precious little girl looks like she’s adjusting well to the new location! Funny how quickly they adjust at that age, huh?
So fun!!
OMG! I’ve been out of the blogging ring for a few months, and look what happens! I had to go back and read how this all came about . . . from Alaska to Florida . . . wow!
We moved a lot for my hubby’s career the first fifteen years or so of our marriage, and it was always an adventure. I really enjoyed those years. Now, we have “settled down”, and I’m enjoying these years, too. I’m not sure where you are on the continuum, but enjoy each stage
