I should have known better
You’d think by now I’d have learned.
But even after I don’t know how many years of doing this home learning thingĀ I still forget sometimes.
I forget that children are naturally curious.

I forget that creativity seeks an outlet like a seedling seeks the sun.

I forget that sometimes it is the simplest things that hold the most power to teach.

I forget that just living life is the greatest lesson of all.

Remind me of this next time I try to get too “schooly”, will you?
Pretty please?

Is that her first independent bike ride? Yay for JBug!
Yep! It sure was! And she is super pleased with herself, too!
Remind me of this everyday as I beat myself up for not doing enough. I’m doing them a favor by getting out of the way, right?
Thanks for the beautiful thoughts and photos, T. You blessed me today.
I said that myself the other day.
“might take me two minutes… or two days…. or even two weeks…”
Congrats to the babes,
and Congrats to you for the fine award nomination!!!!!!
xxoo
Great post!
only if you remind me, Theresa … why is it so hard for us to just let them live and learn and love on their own …….
Blessings and hugs, Theresa … and I can’t believe you still miss Alaska …. biking on the driveway in Nov??????
HA! Great post–so true.
Congrats on your nomination!
