I was over at my friend Stephanie’s , happily reading along as usual, when I came across this surprising little piece of news: Along with Steph and a bunch of my other fav blogs, I’ve been nominated for an award in the Best Unschooling Blog category.
*blink blink*
I have to admit I am pretty surprised. I mean, I’ve been nominated before, even done pretty darn well in the final tally some years, but that was back when my blog was a lot more, shall we say, relevant? informative? consistent? interesting? action-packed? LOL! Now I think I am so sporadic and lethargic in my postings and so lacking in anything truly relevant to say that the idea of me being nominated for an award is simply mind blowing. In a good way, of course.
So, to whoever nominated me–thank you. It’s nice to know this old dog can still hang, at least a little.

It’s because you post the kind of stuff that we can still go back to and get more from, even though we have read it many times. Your blog is one of my favorite blogs to browse!
I just love your blog! I want to be more like you! Been homeschooling for 13 years and have taken a more relaxed approach these past two years. I love your advice over at 4Real Forum. I agree…sometimes just skipping the three R’s is a great refresher! Bookmarking this blog!
