    HI Kathy!
    We used many books and many websites. Actually the websites were some of the most useful. His favorite was The Pirate’s Realm.
    Also really liked Pirates: fact and Legends
    and this site was wonderful: National Geographic Pirates
    Tons of good info to get you started!
